KIDZONE - 5 to 11's - Every Wednesday 6 til 7

Every Wednesday evening during term times we hold a youth group from 6pm until 7pm for Children of Primary school age. The youth group is for Children from both Church and non church backgrounds and all are welcome.

At Kidzone we try and run activities for the children that the children will enjoy and teach them principles from the Bible. We have Singing, games, crafts and stories. We have a team of six leaders and several helpers. The evening starts with singing, usually accompanied by lots of actions, then there is a short break, after which the children break up into two groups based on key stages and are given a short story or talk by leaders from both Ladyfield and Emmanuel evangelical churches. After the story there are crafts and games and the children can choose which they do. The crafts usually end up with something to take home, and the games are aimed at giving the children a bit of fun in a safe environment. The evening ends with a drink and a biscuit or two, followed the traditional 'best boy' and 'best girl' awards.
